Layout model of the Round Square. The layout model demonstrates the original appearance of the Round Square (now Lenin Square) after its construction with eight individual buildings in the period 1775-1785. The scale of the layout model is 1:150. An attentive viewer can see the residents of the city belonging to different estates - public servants, workers, peasants and others. Around the buildings are numerous outbuildings - stables, wood-houses.
The layout was made in collaboration with the workshop "New Aspect" (St. Petersburg) and architect E.E. Icikson. The layout is accompanied by a a piece of music composed by musicians Alexander Leonov and Olga Gaidamak from Petrozavodsk.
The binocular offers visitors to the museum to see panoramas of the Round Square in different periods and compare them with the view of modern Lenin Square. Historical panoramas and binoculars were made by the museum together with Daniil and Matvey Bakaleiny (Petrozavodsk).
