The game room, which can be accessed during interactive classes, tells about what and how the peasants received as a result of their work.
In the center of the game room there is a picturesque model of a Karelian village. In classes with a guide, he "comes to life", turning into a game of "Settlers" and telling about how our ancestors mastered the deaf wild taiga.
In addition to the layout, visitors to the game room are waiting for entertaining tasks:
• Try to find a "common language" with the inhabitants of the barn.
• Get acquainted with the difficult history of creating linen and knitted mittens.
• Find out how fully and wisely our ancestors used forest and plant materials in the economy.
• Take with you recipes of dishes that were prepared in a peasant farm.
• Make a colorful folk calendar! We propose to make a magnetic calendar of bright holiday pictures.
• Watch 10-minute films that will teach you how to get tar, make flax thread, plow the ground, cook fish in Karelian, bake gates.
The exposition was created within the framework of the project of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which became the winner in the IX competition of grant projects "Changing Museum in a changing world" in the nomination "Technologies of museum exposition".
